Several residents and volunteers from Sector 79, Faridabad came together for a cleanliness drive in their area. The drive was flagged off at Omaxe World Street, a popular destination for shopping, tourism, Movies and Music Albums Shoots. The campaign ‘Let’s keep our city clean’ is managed by Omaxe Group. The campaign commencement witnessed the presence of Faridabad MLA Narendra Gupta along with Suren Goyal, President, Omaxe Limited and Pramod Gupta managing the sales and marketing for Omaxe Group.
The cleanliness drive has become an annual ritual in Omaxe Group. The campaign covered the area from BPTP Chowk to Omaxe World Street. The Swachta volunteers were welcomed with an enthusiastic Flash Mob performance, which was followed by a street play highlighting the social issue of lack of clean surroundings and every citizen’s role and responsibility in order to bring about a change. The evening was filled with nationalistic aura by Live band performance on patriotic songs. Volunteers present there were really joyous and excited to see the overwhelming support from the denizens who attended the campaign and participated in it.
Cleanliness drives like these are a clarion call for making our environment better for the coming generations, and making them aware about the eco-friendly practices they need to adopt for a greener future.
