The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu accepted credentials from the High Commissioner of the Republic of Nauru, Mr Kane Amandus at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi on September 06, 2024.
Following the presentation of credentials, High Commissioner Kane Amandus was able to meet bilaterally with India’s President. During High Commissioner Amandus’ tenure, President Murmu reaffirmed India’s steadfast commitment as Nauru’s development partner and committed to strengthen the strong partnership between our two nations. High Commissioner expressed Nauru’s readiness to collaborate with India in addressing shared challenges, such as climate change, health, and capacity building.
